future from $30 a month

Sofia`s story

Sofia is a cheerful 14-year-old girl who believes that learning English is essential for broadening her worldview and connecting with people from all over the world. Dreaming of becoming a genetic engineer, she knows that mastering this language will enable her to gain knowledge at the best educational institutions abroad, as this field is still not fully developed in Ukraine.

But her passions don’t stop there. Sofia loves to dance, especially salsa, bachata, and cover dance. She enjoys sharing her knowledge in these areas, engaging in lively discussions with like-minded individuals, and helping others discover their interests. Sofia is also interested in graphic design and participates in volunteer activities, where she meets new people and makes new friends. Her dream is to have a new laptop.

Sofia lived in Kherson until the war forced her to leave her hometown. At the beginning of the conflict, she was undergoing an intensive chemotherapy course, which complicated her situation. The war interrupted her treatment and forced her to leave the country.

With the support of generous donors, her dreams of education and personal growth can become a reality, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow.
