A Little Dream Fulfilled, a Big Smile Shared

We’re thrilled to share the heartwarming story of Arina Kovtun! Despite facing unimaginable challenges due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, Arina remains resilient and filled with hope.

Arina, originated from Kharkiv, in Eastern Ukraine, had her world turned upside down when one February day a russian drone struck dangerously close to her home, setting on fire a petrol station in a nearby and burning down her house. Her family has been left displaced. But amidst the chaos, Arina continues to embrace life and dreams of a better future. Many adults could envy the willpower of this teenage girl.

Thanks to the support of our generous contributors and dedicated team, we were able to make Arina’s dream of owning a portable speaker a reality! It may seem like a small gesture to some, but for Arina, it’s a source of joy and a reminder that kindness knows no bounds. At Hope-Children of Ukraine, we believe in the power of dreams, no matter how big or small, and Arina’s story serves as a reminder that every little act of kindness makes a world of difference.
