Last week, Iryna Lutsenko, Development Manager at Hope-Children of Ukraine, participated in a program “”Trauma-Informed Approach in the Context of Access to Human Rights and Basic Services for Internally Displaced Persons and Persons Returning to Ukraine,”” organized by the Council of Europe. This program is designed to enhance the skills of professionals who work with internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities, helping them implement education and outreach activities using a trauma-informed approach.
During the training Iryna had the chance to share experiences and knowledge with 24 colleagues from various youth centers and organizations that support IDPs. The training provided valuable educational content and served as a networking platform, creating new opportunities for our foundation to collaborate with other organizations. The knowledge gained will enable us to offer even more effective support to children affected by the war in Ukraine.
