Hope in Action: how English language learning helps children in Ukraine

Usually people sum up things at the end of the year, but we’ve decided to share our news right now. And they are really worth your attention! Since September of last year, 2023, we’ve been conducting free English courses for children affected by the war in Ukraine. During this time, our educational project has scaled up significantly. We are very proud of the positive dynamics and the fact that we can help more and more children each time.

• In September 2023, 68 students began their studies with us.
• The second wave started in March 2024 with twice as many participants – a total of 141 children.
• Today, 209 children and teenagers are studying with us!

Our mission:
At Hope – Children of Ukraine, we believe that quality education provides better chances in life. Thanks to our free English courses, children have the opportunity to acquire valuable skills that will help them in the future.

Our team:
The project is made by the people who create it. We sincerely thank all the teachers and volunteers who educate children, spread information about the program, and help the project grow and expand.
