“At ‘Hope – Children of Ukraine’, we strive to provide children with an education that will serve as a reliable foundation for their future achievements. Twelve-year-old Zlata Mykytenko has been passionate about English since childhood and has made significant progress in learning the language. However, the war disrupted her family’s regular life: Zlata, her mother, and her younger brother were forced to leave their home in the Kyiv region and move to the safer city of Lviv. Forced relocation has negatively impacted the family’s financial situation, making paid language courses an unaffordable luxury for gifted Zlata. Fortunately, she discovered a free educational project by ‘Hope – Children of Ukraine’ and now she’s studying English with us.
Zlata Mykytenko: “English has always been one of my favorite subjects. When I went to school I already knew the English alphabet and could read basic English. My dream is to master the language perfectly, not only for traveling but also because I hope to study abroad in the future. I am grateful to ‘Hope – Children of Ukraine’ for the opportunity to attend free English courses, study, and practice. I hope this will be my ticket to a happy future.

Currently, more than 150 talented and motivated children are studying with ‘Hope – Children of Ukraine’. Your contribution will help us to increase this number significantly. Discover how you can support our projects and join us!”
