Travel, Language Practice, and Cultural Discovery with the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Program.

Recently, our students participated in the Meeting with a Fluent Speaker project to delve into the experiences of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Program. Hosted by Hope-Children of Ukraine for language course students, the session aimed to promote cross-cultural understanding and speaking practice.

Mykola Okhrimenko, one of our students and an Erasmus+ participant, led the meeting. He shared his experiences living in Estonia, where he improved his language skills and made new friends. Yanar, an English-speaking student from Estonia, joined him and presented captivating insights into Estonian life, covering local traditions, history, cuisine, and more.

Participants eagerly asked questions about Estonian life, from daily routines and hobbies to food and clothing traditions. Some even shared their own experiences of visiting Estonia, enriching the discussion.

This exchange highlighted the similarities between our countries, especially in customs and cuisine. We thank both the presenter and guests for this engaging session, providing students with a glimpse into life abroad and a chance to practice English communication skills.

Stay tuned for more!
