Arina Baitrak:
My goal is to become a doctor and save lives in memory of my father

Become part of the success
My journey to English
I have been studying English within the project for less than three months, but I already feel significant changes. Previously, my biggest problem was grammar, especially tenses, but now they have become much easier to understand. Our classes are very fun and interesting, and the teacher is so kind and emotional that it’s incredibly inspiring to learn.
Results I’m proud of
The main achievement for me now is confidence. I have started communicating in English much more boldly than before. Every word learned brings me closer to the fluent mastery of the language, which is vital for my future profession.
Life during the war
The war radically changed my life. I had to move to another city and adapt to new people and a different mentality. But the hardest trial was the loss of my father — he died at the front, defending what was most dear to him.
What helps me hold on and move forward is the thought that my dad would want to see me successful. He would want me to be useful to people and live a happy life. This gives me the strength not to give up.
Dreams for the future
I have already taken the first step toward my dream — I am studying at a medical college. I want to become a doctor and perform the most complex surgeries to give people health. For me, English is a tool for professional growth. I plan to go abroad, study the latest medical techniques, and then return home to Ukraine to practice them here.
A word of gratitude
“Thank you so much for giving children the opportunity to make their dreams come true. Thank you to everyone who hasn’t forgotten about us and helps. It really warms the soul to know that we are remembered. Thank you!”
