Kateryna Lehutska:
English is not just learning, but development and new horizons

Become part of the success
My journey to English
I have been studying English for over two years. I am currently in the 9th grade, so I understand that language skills will be needed very soon for the NMT (National Multi-Subject Test). But for me, it’s not just exam preparation — I know that learning languages incredibly develops memory and attention. The hardest part for me was always starting to speak in full sentences, “putting words together,” but the lessons helped me overcome this barrier.
Results I’m proud of
In Ms. Oleksandra’s classes, we don’t just learn grammar; we discover amazing facts — for example, why buses in London are red. Thanks to such an interesting presentation, I started speaking much more confidently. My true pride is an overall score of 9.1 for the winter testing. Hurray!
Life during the war and the path to overcoming loneliness
The war forced me to leave my native Bakhmut district and become a displaced person. The last few years have brought many trials, and the hardest among them was the feeling of loneliness. However, it is the learning and our classes that help me hold on, filling the void and giving me the strength to move forward. Now I live in Vinnytsia and continue my journey despite all the difficulties.
Dreams for the future
I dream of a time when I can travel freely to English-speaking countries and communicate with people without any obstacles. I believe that the language will open the world for me, so I continue to work on myself every day.
A word of gratitude
“Thank you so much for the opportunity for free education. This is a chance for us to become better and go toward our dreams, despite everything!”
