Oleksandr Pette:
I dream of becoming an international architect and caring for my family

Become part of the success
My journey to English
I have been studying English for about six months. Previously, the hardest part for me was remembering irregular verbs, but thanks to the interesting presentation of material and the comfortable atmosphere in class, everything has become much easier. I learn the language because I know it will open the world to me during travels and become the foundation for my future profession.
Results I’m proud of
Studies have given me real results: I now feel much more confident communicating with foreigners abroad. My school grades have gone up, and I even take first place in school English Olympiads among my classmates.
Life during the war: metro-school and strength of spirit
Due to the bombing of my native Kharkiv, I had to leave for a while. This taught me to adapt to any conditions. The hardest trial was the loss of my father. After that, I returned to Kharkiv and am currently continuing my studies at a “metro-school” — an underground school in our city.
All this stress has made me stronger. I have a big goal in life because I have a mother and a younger sister to care for as a man.
Dreams for the future
I love learning — math, history, geography, and English are my favorite subjects. In the future, I see myself as an international architect. English will help me design buildings all over the world and represent Ukraine on the international stage. I am doing everything possible to study well and step by step reach this goal.
A word of gratitude
“I sincerely thank you for this opportunity! My family, friends, trips to the camp from the foundation, and our English courses help me move forward. This is truly important to me.”
